Danni Watts-Jones is the Managing Director and has extensive knowledge of financial services. Danni has specialised in wealth management for over 26 years and in particular provides advice to the elderly and business owners. Coupled with this Danni also provides a personal bespoke service to the private individuals and corporates. A wide range of wealth management services and plans are provided including Investment Planning, Mortgages, Protection, Inheritance Tax Planning. As an accredited member of the Society for Later Life Advisers, Danni is also qualified to provide advice to a sector of the community with unique needs and aspirations. She has a wealth of expertise and experience and prides herself in providing an invaluable service to clients. She is committed to building long-term, high trust relationships and the advice she gives is of the highest standard. Not only does she meet her clients regularly, they are also invited to my client days where they find out more about what is happening in the world of wealth management. With an ever-changing environment and changing client circumstances, she feels that it is essential to write bespoke financial plans for clients achieve their goals, and, more importantly, to review these plans regularly to ensure they remain current and accurate.
She works closely with other professionals such as solicitors, accountants and other financial services specialists to ensure that her clients receive the best advice available. It is not unusual for her to work alongside clients’ own professional advisers, making the process simpler and saving valuable time.
Because of her strong client focus, she builds her business predominantly on introductions, both from her private clients and from other long-standing professional relationships. Outside of her business, Danni is an enthusiastic golfer & loves spending time with her family especially her son, Harvey.
Jon has worked within financial services for over 30 years, starting on a training programme for Barclays in Swansea in 1987, where he worked for 7 years within both the retail and corporate bank. During this time, he qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and met his wife Sara, who also worked in Barclays.
Jon chose to branch out into financial planning within Prudential, again in Swansea, in 1994. He worked there for 2 years before being headhunted by Abbey National in 1996. Jon started as a Mortgage and Investment Adviser in Llanelli and during his 23 years in Abbey/Santander he had a variety of roles working across the UK, both as advising for the private banking arm and leading various regional teams.
Having spent far too long away from home, Jon has decided that now is the time to come home and make a difference locally. He is going back to his roots giving financial advice within St. James’s Place working alongside Danni, having previously worked together in both Barclays and Prudential.
Jon plays golf in Clyne Golf Club where he has been a member for 40 years. Jon previously played Hockey for Wales, he has supported the Swans since a boy and both him and his son have season tickets.
Terry’s main role within the team is to oversee and assist on everything technical. Terry is now a qualified Paraplanner to support the business as it grows. Terry deals with all of the company’s information and technology. He has worked for several large Financial Institutions in various sales and compliance roles and will use his experience to bring a number of different functions to the business.
Having joined in the summer of 2018, Katy’s key responsibilities are to ensure the smooth running of DWJ Wealth Management Practice. She is on hand to deal with any issues relating to business matters.
Katy has a wealth of experience in dealing with clients on a daily basis and will ensure the service Danni provides to her clients is maintained on an ongoing basis. Katy will act as chief liaison between Danni and her clients. Katy is also studying to become a Paraplanner.
Having joined as an administrator in July 2019, Jess is looking forward to studying financial services and developing her knowledge and experience. Her key responsibilities will be preparing documents, scanning and filing and she will be the first point of contact for clients. Jess will be here to assist with incoming phone calls and help with any client enquiries.
In her spare time, Jess likes spending time with family and friends in addition to keeping fit at the gym.
Nanette Mantle specialises in Protection and Mortgages. She has extensive knowledge of these sectors and assists clients with any queries they may have. Nanette is responsible for business processing and client queries in these areas.
